Here We Go Again!

Hey all!

I am starting a blog to let everyone know how we are progressing through this upcoming deployment. (Thanks for the idea Cinnamon!!!) Deployments are never easy, and seem to last an eternity, but keeping yourself busy is the best way to get through. Scott is due to leave very soon, and will be deployed for at least half the new year (likely more). I have went through this process many times, and each time is equally as heart wrenching as the last. As the kids get older the dynamic changes. I would have thought nothing was harder than a deployment with a new baby, or even a toddler, but I was wrong. It gets harder as the grow older and know how long 6 months is, and when they are old enough to really truly miss their daddy. Veronica and Kenny are such troopers, but its really very hard for them. I will be trying to update this blog at least once a week, with updates on the kids and I, as well as Scott. I will also be posting pictures and anything else interesting that comes about. Please feel free to post comments or ask questions, like I said, anything to keep me busy makes the time go faster. For all of you out there that are in the same place as me, having your spouse get deployed, keep your chin up, stay positive and get yourself a good support system. Happy New Year!
